My First IMAX Experience

Last Saturday, we went out to Berjaya Times Square. Well, considered that as a family outing:- we brought along my 2 SILs to watch IMAX : Open Season. It was a great experience, and worth our money spent...

Looking at the ticketing area, it was much2 less crowded compared to our normal cinemas (eg: GSC, TGV etc).

Waah..so less crowded, unlike GSC and TGV? hmmm...

The reason must be the pricing of the ticket..but the difference? Hmmpphh..IMAX is totally cool. Watching in 3D mode really gives you a satisfaction that you won't get when you watch in 2D..(Tapi kene abaikan about how do you look wearing damn big glasses: it was so funny)

Funny me in super-duper big glasses!

I'll definitely go often to IMAX if i can get lower price. But for now, sekali-sekala ajelah..

Could you guys guess? This pic was taken in the bubble lift at KLCC. You can see the photographer next to me, holding the camera-phone.

Eid Mubarak

Salam All,

I think it's still not too late to wish all of you Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri..Maaf Zahir dan Batin (yes, i mean it..Maaf Zahir dan Batin). This is my first time to celebrate EidulFitri as a wife and luckily, still celebrating with my parents in our hometown..it's a bit different celebration this year, but one thing for sure will be the same every year: main bunga api and mercun ketupat! haha..you guys must be confused to see us adults playing bunga api...(definitely no kids..no joke man..betul ni x tipu, the eldest is 26 yrs old while the youngest is 13 yrs old)

Routine to follow: to get to know more about my husband relatives (penat tidak terkata, banyaaakk sangat rumah to go) and also pay my relatives regular visits. Satisfied with our raya this year..managed to invite our friends for makan2..at our house..(thanks to all who came) and now time to puasa 6...hopefully cukup 6 hari

Hopefully everyone is enjoying EidulFitri!

Uli Uli Aidifitri

Last weekend, i've started our (me, MIL and SIL) mission: buat kuih raya! We've started with our very first kuih: TART GULUNG. The result: First doh a bit keras, but still sedap...Second doh and afterwards...sedappp!!!hehehe

Nampak sedap tak?

....and the best part is...my kuih tart dah ada bekasnya for hari raya!

ehehehe..cantik kan?

To be continued next weekend....

Bukapuasa@Outside part II

Last Monday, again we decided to have a very well-deserved buka puasa outside..but still at KLCC. This time we aimed for Royal Thai Food, Chakri's Palace. No queuing, the best thing ever! I was craving for the crab (hmm yummy!) so that we had chosen ala carte menu..(no crab in buffet menu, can you believe that?)

The interior changed a lot...I showed that we hadn't had our lunch here for quite a long time...our menu: Of course la Tom Yam Gung, kerabu mangga and the crab! (already forgotten of the name) Not to be forgotten our favourite soursop juice (huh, mcm x ada air lain)

Yum Yum Yum :-)

Here comes the crab..the hidden crab (dah x de kulit dia)

My fave: Frozen Soursop

Gotcha! habiskan udang, x ingat org lain..

We still managed to shop our groceries at Cold Storage. After Maghrib prayer, we went back with our full stomach!

Bukapuasa@Outside

We rarely break our fast outside..the reason: i go back early everyday, and still have time to cook..so why eat outside? Lucky me to have a husband who balun aje whatever i cook..(eventhough x sedap hehe)...but of course i only manage to cook very simple dishes, letihla nak masak yang complicated everyday..penat keje lagi...

So what we do is we top up our lauk with some other lauk and kuih from Bazaar Ramadhan
nearby to mix and match with the dishes i cook. OK la so far, not much complaint from hubby..

Last week, we decided to tukar selera by breaking our fast outside..venue? of course la klcc..it's the
most convenient place to eat (heh, ye ke...maybe for my husband..since he's working at the tower..) It was Friday, since i was leaving the office early, i drove myself to KLCC and met him there. Too bad, i was stucked in traffic jam all the way to KLCC (it was 5 PM and the traffic was damn heavy). I only managed to reach there at 6..(huh normal journey normally takes only 20 mins..sigh..)

6 PM wasn't a good timing to search for available seats at my hubby's favourite chicken restaurant: NANDO's. Too long queue! We decided too break our fast with something (a slice of pizza, cut fruits and a bottle of guava juice). After Maghrib prayer, we went again to NANDO's and still people were queueing! hmmm..no choice, but to queue..

erhh..panjangnya queue!

At last..your deserved peri peri

We have their ramadhan special menu..and i just love love the bubble blackcurrant drink :-) Quite enjoying our meal, we went back at around 9 PM ++. Managed to snap few pics at Concourse hehe

besarnya ketupat! you can see the kolum too..

Money Matters

HMMM...who said that Ramadhan is a month to berjimat-cermat...i don't believe in that..lagi koyak adala! Few weeks before Ramadhan, i've spent 20 bucks for serunding daging: for iftar. Plus another 4 bucks for home-made acar buah, promoted by one of my office-mate..hmm tu baru intro..

The next other day...ada jualan tudung pulak dekat office..i burn 70 bucks for that! Tudung raya konon...adoiii..ooppss lupa, i managed to burn another 70 ringgit for kuih raya...also promoted by my office-mate...sigh..tu dekat office je...not yet included bazaar ramadhan expenditure...shopping for raya, budget for duit raya...wowowowooo....it's really a money matter!

HP Raya

Well, i think another post should be in my blog by today...hehe and since harini pun very unproductive...let me fulfil my time with something...to announce that i got a new phone!

Well, big thanks to my dearest hubby for sponsoring the phone..(haha, habis kopak duit bonus)
OK, it's not my dream phone k800i, but something else...hubby said it's too expensive, meaning that he's not willing to waste his money, i repeat: HIS MONEY...plus after a chit-chat with one of SONYWINGS' staff who stated that the phone is not that stable yet..and recommend him another model instead...so the best model he is willing to 'burn' his money for is only k750i OR w700i...hmm ok lah tu..since my phone pun dah very the very nazak...terima je lah..lagipun if i demand for more, mcm mana nak dapat baju raya, kasut raya, gelang raya (eheh!)

So, we went to Sg Wang yesterday..we surprised ourselves for not getting the aimed model but the other model and brand instead! The reason: our aimed model x de 3G..so alang-alang beli (and i am not a person who keep changing a phone) better get a 3G phone..so that later senangla..

We finally picked this NOKIA 6280.. i think it suites girls..all basic functions are there..camera 2.0 megapixels...hmm satisfied with this phone..but not sure how reliable it is so far..

NOKIA 6280

We have started capturing photos, and also deleting the unwanted mp3 songs downloaded by the 'orang kedai'..and still need time to explore more..maklumla..dah lama x pakai NOKIA..heh

Anyway, again, i'd like to express my gratitude to my dearest husband for this..mwahs mwahs!

Ramadhan Mubarak

Alhamdulillah, as time goes by...my cough and flu are recovering well...seems Allah listened to what i've prayed for! Still not yet started my Quran recitement, hmm macam mana nak khatam dalam bulan pose ni? INSYA-ALLAH dengan izin-NYA, i'll start it very2 soon..
Yesterday, my puasa completed succesfully, but after buka puasa ada muntah sikit-sikit..really hope that i don't get my gastric this soon..masa tarawikh i'm sort of termengah-mengah..only able to do 8 rakaat tarawikh (eleh, alasan!)

Hehe..this morning i managed to get up for sahur..well actually sahur dekat my Parent-In-Law..after sahur baru balik to our apartment...we have to move to work before 7 today...since we start early and go back early for buka puasa in Ramadhan..My hubby and I need to clock in at 8.00 o'clock..i reached my office around 7.30 today..uh, another half an hour to..sleep? hehe..i can't help myself to sleep..so i decided to go surau to take a nap..

8 o'clock...start to work..but ngantuklah..network pun slow...hmm MONDAY BLUES Ramadhan Edition...

MY HEalth

It's almost two weeks. Still tak baik lagi...i hate this cough..it really bothers me. Of course, for a person who can't live without talking and gossiping a lot: COUGH is really a bad disaster. Irritates me, you know. Gelak sikit, batuk. Cakap sikit, batuk lagi. Bangun tido, sakit tekak. Berus gigi, terbatuk-batuk.
HUH, MAKAN BATUK MINUM BATUK TIDUR BATUK.

Ramadhan is getting near, i am looking to recite all 30 juzuk (hopefullly INSYAALLAH) in this month. Tapi..batuk batuk dan batuk lagi. Am i capable to recite it all? Plus my big ulcer in the mouth, and my still-not-yet-recovered-flu...i really hope all of these 'circumstances' will be OK by next week. YA ALLAH kau sembuhkan segala penyakit ku, agar aku sihat di bulan MU yang penuh keberkatan ini. AMIN

So, apa azam anda dibulan barakah yg akan datang ini? Puasa penuh tak? INSYAALLAH :D

I love my husband

I wrote a long post last few days...unfortunately it was't published successfully (don't ask me why, i hate to answer that). That was really frustrating..i hate to write the same thing again, and of course it was too long to rewrite! huh..so the only thing i can afford to write back is only the title of the post. And there it goes, enjoy the title!

This week is indeed the most tedious one..it's my turn to standby, and it is a real standby! so busy handling major maintenance and also breakdown..and until sunday pun ada maintenance! huh..what a hectic week...-sigh-i take it positively..there's nothing to lose handling all this...i think i get more: experience la especially..not the standby allowance :P

Last night sempat lagi tengok wayang! well, konon2 spending quality time dengan hubby la for this week.. (dengan harapan no outage at that time)..and thank god i was managed to watch the movie till the end of the story..not feeling so well this week, hopefully i will recover from my bad cough and flu soonest possible.

Husband dearie, sorry for not paying you full attention this week..tiredness+busy-ness+lazyness had turned me this way...SORRY!

i miss my baked beans :-(

It was Ayam Brand Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce.. We had our breakfast that day with it..and our bread...it was so yummy, but i was unmanaged to settle the whole beans in the can..as i was badly losing my appetite recently...still wanted to save the unsettled beans..i stored the balance in the fridge...day by day, the beans was still left in the fridge, untouched. Nevermind, i'll eat it finally...

We spent our weekend at my parent in law's , leaving the beans with the milk, chocolate, veggies, etc in the fridge.

We went back to our apartment on Sunday...Yippee, couldn't wait to eat the beans with the bread we bought at Alamanda this morning..

I went to the kitchen..i saw my hubby washing a plate, i guess.. "Abang basuh apa tu? -Basuh ni...--->Huarrrggghhhh....it's my beans! :-(( BENCI

it's 8:41 PM and i'm still in the office...

It's my turn to stand-by (and shift!)...that is why i am still in the office..not updating for some times in this blog...i decided to jot down something today...
well, nothing much happened..but obviously the most awaiting event: SITI NURHALIZA n DATUK K nikah ceremony was held last Monday...what a pheww...finally!

what else? uh: it was my ex-roommate's wedding last Sunday...SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU AMI! me and few of my friends (yup, my friends not my hubby) attended her wedding all the way from KL to JB...she looked so nervous, as usual: blushing all day :P
I wish her all the best in her life...

RESERVED PARKING FOR : KAL 3202

Last Friday my husband and I went to Mid Valley, for High Tea (owh, did i mention high tea?) As usual, we started to find the parking at nowhere-else-but-our-favourite-GZONE-parking area. It's somewhere at Menara IGB..This place has been our favourite parking since we were in uni, for some reason:

1) You only pay for the parking at the counter when you exit [soo good, you don't have to queue to pay for parking]
2) If you park at Level3, you can straight away heading to cinema...very easy, no more escalator nor elevator..
3) More and more parking space..unlike general parking at midvalley parking area..this is what we like most...

but that was during our old-sweet-time....we hardly found even 1 parking space..except the reserved one...my dear husband finally decided to park at one of reserved parking...me-don't want to say anything...as i had already told him not to park there...

There you go! Our car was blocked by a cute kancil...nothing much to do..but only to wait for the car owner....hmm...we waited for hours..and still the car was there..

Let's make
the story more dramatic: Well, actually my family was on the way from Melaka: paying us a visit this weekeend..They called me to inform that there were almost at our home..and we were still waiting for the kancil driver!! huh, straight away i went home by commuter+lrt to welcome them..poor hubby, you waited for the driver yourself: without me...[well, you asked for it, sape suruh parking kat situ :P]

Finally at 10++PM, hubby returned home..with our car heheh...that kancil was a company car..and the driver had left home...luckily by the help of the guards, the car was managed to be moved and hubby was able to drive home safely (but of course with tiredness and regrets)

So, lesson learn: PARK YOUR CAR PROPERLY!

Reward Yourself...

Don't laugh reading this statement: I am now using Samsung A800 (Blue i) with no camera, no colour screen, no mp3 player, no 3G.... IT'S A NO-NO PHONE *winks*

I'm now eyeing for SonyEricsson k800i: Cybershot 3.2 megapixel camera phone, with 3G, large TFT screen..wiwiwiwiwiwi..it impressed me gila-gila then...look at it..solid figure (esp the camera) hmm barula korporat!

I must get this by end of this year! Abang izinkan ehh..(Still failed to get his approval..huh)

02062006-02082006

It's two month now after i am officially announced as a wife of Muhammad Khairie. My feeling? Hmmm..bercampur-baur...happy and honoured to be his only wifey..(yeah, ONLY) Well, let's look at the biggest decision made by us since the knot being tied:

We decided to move out from my parent in-law and live on our own. I'm not sure if this decision is made to soon or what..but i've got no choice:

1) I can't allow myself feeling too comfy staying in the house..because later both of us will not feel like moving out anymore..(why not, you've got nothing to worry: all bills settled by mak and abah, dinner will always ready when you work late and return home only at 8..so why move?) -->this is what i want to avoid of.

Being too comfortable of something will make you forget about any other thing you need to think of. Sorry mak and abah dearest, it's not that i don't like staying with you..i think both mak abah understand
and agree with this decision.

2) It's my working schedule: I have standby-shift, which means 'abnormal' working hours. Start at 2 PM and return home at 10PM, followed by standby until 830AM the next day. Eventhough it's only one-week-in- a-month duty, i am sure they will be distracted with all this: the phone calls at 3AM, watching their only son waiting for wifey returning home at 10++PM..huh..it shows a bad reputation of me as a wife!

3) I can do all i want to! You won't wear a short in front of your father in law...You can't wake up late while your mother in law prepares the breakfast. Now in our own place: YEEHAA! i can wear anything i want, or nothing at all..(well this is the best reason that makes my dear hubby agrees to move out) anyway, thanks abang! for being so understanding and always supporting me for this...muaahhhss

Why Lotter?

The result was as expected. Lotter was best voted for AFMASUK thingy..brought him back to the academy for the finale.. His performance? hmm..it was a so-so performance..nothing much to be proud of...RICH was even performed better. Lotter fans out there..jangan marah ye! i'm not saying that Lotter does not deserve the chance...this make me think: Malaysians prioritize attitude more than everything.

So who will be the champion? Will it be FARHAN? noo..i don't think so.. FAIZAL maybe...he is now leading with 40% percent votes tau..my first thought: farhan might be winning this competition..but then i feel like nothing impressed me much in her...well, i don't want to make more comments..i don't even AFUNDI any of them..-don't blame me for not voting: i won't get even RM1 if he/she wins..

Just wait for nextcoming week..WHO WILL WIN?

Finally, I have my own blog!

Funny! i have to admit that a person like me : working in IT related industry, hooked to internet almost 24hrs, knows nothing about blogging! (not to say nothing la..it's just that i don't have my own blog..that's all..i do read people's blog and even have my own favourite blogs to read when i'm free)

This morning, my dearest hubby helped me to unpack our garments. (we've just moved in a week ago to our own rented house). I said to him if i have my own blog i would post a compliment titled: My dearest hubby is the best husband ever! (or somethin' like that, i can't really remember what is the real compliment, though..sorry dear)

SO: This is the beginning! Posting a compliment to my dearest husband in my own blog! WHOAAA
